2 face charges after meth lab discovered

POLICE SAY BOTH MEN WHO WERE ARRESTED WERE CHARGED WITH SELLING METHAMPHETAMINE, AND AUTHORITIES SAY THEY ALSO FOUND GUNS AND A DRUG LAB INSIDE A GILMANTON HOME. POLICE SAY THIS HOUSE ON ROUTE 140 IN GILMANTON WAS HOME TO A CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE LAB THAT AUTHORITIES DISCOVERED LATE FRIDAY MORNING. POLICE SAY IT WAS PART OF A MULTIAGENCY INVESTIGATION THAT RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF TWO MEN. 35-YEAR-OLD JONATHAN RECALL INS AND ROBERT GAUTHIER. ON FRIDAY MORNING WE SET UP SURVEILLANCE AT THE RESIDENCE ON ROUTE 140, TWO SUBJECTS LEFT THE RESIDENCE, THEY WERE STOPPED BY A POLICE OFFICER, ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP. POLICE SAY RAWLINS AND GONTHIER WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON CURRIER HILL ROADN WARRANT. WHEN THE OFFICERS WENT IN TO DO THE SEARCH THEY LOW THAT ITED FIREARMS AND A METH LAB. THE D.A.’S LAB TEAM WAS SUMMONSED TO THE SCENE. HE SAYS WHEN POLICE ENTERED THE HOME THEY FOULS FOUND A WOMAN WITH A YOUNG CHILD. THEY WERE REMOVED FROM THE SCENE AND NO CHARGES WERE FILED. POLICE SAY THE METH LAB WAS DISMANTLED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. METH IS A VERY DANGEROUS DRUG TO MANUFACTURE. IT’S VERY VOLATILE. THERE CAN BE EXPLOSIONS, FIRES. IT’S A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. BAIL WAS SET AT 25,000 CASH
