  • great tuition once again Adam. I will check that book out. regards from Aberdovey, Wales.

  • Have been watching your videos for the past two weeks. Played a lot as a Junior in my youth but as an adult got back into the game. Always had the very common driver slicing issue on virtually every driver shot

Between studying and reviewing your videos I am now hitting the ball straighter and occasionally with good draw over 240 yards on 7 out of 10 shots at the range! This after discovering it was my unnecessary tighter grip and keeping the club face open upon impact.

Thank you for your detailed explanations Adam and good visual aides (this part helps me tremendously). Will continue to subscribe and practice, practice, practice!

  • I am thirteen years old no golf lessons ever, these videos have got me to shoot 100 and I used to shoot 120 before I discovered your amazing videos thanks.

  • Nice demonstration on different swings types. You have a pretty decent swing there yourself Adam. You deliver a fairy athletic move into the ball as well. I like it & as usual another very interesting well presented video.

  • Thank you so much for this tip. I have a thick upper body and thin legs. I have always tried to have a wide long swing and never seem to be able to bring it back. This shows me I'm probably doing the wrong thing for my body type….never considered that it would be different for me than for others!

  • Annika Sorenstam had the simplest looking golf swing, yet she was the longest and straightest driver on the LPGA. Her downswing looks like it's all connected as one piece. In other words. The hips and arms swing down together as one unit.
Could you comment alittle on her swing and what her style is called, as I would like to duplicate it. It's very body friendly.

  • Is this astroturf you are hitting off of?!

This vid evolved quickly into something not at all like a discussion of what "is" the "perfect swing." I watched because I know what a perfect swing is. I am a scratch golfer if anyone cares. This is a discussion of what might be (MIGHT BE) components or elements of a "perfect" swing. This is not an identification of the perfect swing. I would claim that the perfect swing is basically a particular thing, which I have identified (and so I do dare to say what I am saying here), and there would be some numerous variations on the several component parts of that "perfect" swing, giving it a slightly different look for different golfers. Want a hint as to who swings the most "middle of the road" version of the "perfect" swing? Look at Rory McIlroy (NOT Ben Hogan).

  • Adam I'd say your very flexible, beautiful follow through finish you have – not that easy for guys our age! A lot of the South African golfers have that smooth look, can you sometime explain how Ernie, Louie, Brandon, Charl, etc. get that smooth look to their swings! thanks.

  • at what angle are your alignment sticks? can I use a certain club to find that angle? thank you!

  • Greg von Seeger

Thank you Adam for making this statement. Its' difficult trying to emulate someone else when the body types and 'age' are so different. I immediately went onto Amazon and purchased 'The Laws of Golf'. Looking forward to reading it. Thanks for the tips!

  • Love your videos. It's always very helpful. Can you do a video about how to play from tight lies and rough ? I think there are many people struggle with those. Thanks.

  • love the work you are posting here on You Tube. just found you about a week or so ago. Question: I am looking for suggestions for a great shot routine. Have you made that video/s yet? I can't seem to find it. JV

  • Just found you channel and you have a new subscriber 😃 also I have recently started playing golf and when I hit a shot my wrists waggle about do you have any advice on how to keep them straight ??

  • love your videos Adam, really helpful and the fact you keep mentioning to "have fun", I think a lot of other instructors miss this important point. thanks!

  • hey there in your golf swing do use left hand to takeaway then right hand on the down swing for power or do you use both hands and arms in take away golf swing and down swing

  • right handed that is

  • I keep hitting the ball right even tho I try this ugh 😭

  • RepeaterCreeper

Is my driver too long for me? Like it reaches up to my chest when I have it standing.

  • Really interesting, Adam. Thanks.

  • This guy is good. I've been using his suggestions in a number of areas and getting very positive results. I've watched many videos from other instructors with far less successful results. Adams ideas for improving fairway woods completely changed my approach with those clubs and I'm now getting very confident with them. Thanks for your videos and sharing your knowledge.

  • Adam, thanks for the great content! Your tip to look into the Laws of Golf brought daylight to the darkness that was my swing. I have been trying to build a swing that didn't fit my body type and was getting incredibly frustrated! I'm excited to get practicing again.

  • Sometimes you sound American, then British lol. Great videos, I'm learning a lot. I went to TopGolf with my girlfriend, it was her first time. And she beat me and actually doubled my score!!! I need to improve fast! We're going again next week. I can't deal with her gloating anymore! Lol

  • Hi Adam, not sure if the thread is dead, but I saw your video today and I feel very passionate about this – my favourite swing is without doubt Louis Oosthuizen – a very compact and rationel swing with without any unnecessary moves – thanks for great videos and useful tips 🙂

  • I agree u have to develop a swing that feels comfortable to you and your physical capability. I have been playing for a month so I am trying to figure a lot out. I hit some good drives but fnd it very difficult to have a controlled finish. i also find it very difficult hitting irons from the fairway

  • I love the way your videos show us how to figure out our own natural movement and swing. Your a pretty good golf teacher. Thanks for all your help.

  • i love

  • good free lessons.

  • Where should the club handle be pointing at address? I find that for most clubs, once I've straightened my left arm before I engage the backswing that the handle of the clubs is pointing toward my left hip. I find that with most clubs . Am I doing something wrong? I'm just going with the lie of the club or so I think

  • Another wacky instructor! Get a real job! 😂😂😂

  • Sweet video! Adam is the man! I learned the same thing in a course I took recently.
    Check it guys: https://tinyurl.com/ydxbnou2

  • I have a tendency to stop my hips when I come in contact with the ball and then continue after I hit the ball it’s usually worse with my driver just because the setup with the driver I have my hip sticking out to the left a little so the really throw me off more getting my hips to turn, Plus I hv no issues with throwing a ball or hitting a baseball to get my hips to turn properly, it’s just that dang golf swing I’m having problems with, I’m about a 14 handicap. Thank you Dennis

  • Hi Adam I just discovered the perfect swing I have been doing is the same swing that millions of us golfers have done. Namely swing without a club in hand. Then they might discover that the rotation of the shoulder alone is what spirals the body downwards and creates a tremendous coil in our body. The downswing is pure; simple and natural. We have all used this secret swing of golf; but now it is time we put a club in our hands and try to better our swing.

  • Thank you. Today at the driving range; the range was full of kids from a golf camp owned and operated by a local professional teacher. I told him my theories of golf being a combined shoulder rotating/ vertical lifting arm movement. He said good show me your swing. Which I did to his satisfaction that he ask me to be a volunteer coach to the kids attending his golf instructions this year. I admitted to him that I am far from a good golfer on the course. His reply was that once a week he will take me out on the course and coach me personally to better my game skills. Being a retired RN this is the best offer in my life! Love your videos. Thank you again

  • SIr Please please please please make video on Ben Hogan Swing Analysis , Please I request You

  • You are one of the best golf instructers i have ever seen. Thanks gor all the tips. It's helping me.

  • Hi adam, sometimes I would hit above the ball or hit the ground when doing my swing. I try to keep my left hand straight, is there anything else i can do to fix this?

  • The course looks so cool. I want your life!

  • I love your videos! I just started playing a little over a month ago and your tips on here have been key for me. I see why you have been named teacher of the year. I watch other videos and guys just talk and talk without saying anything and Im always fast forwarding trying to get to the meat and potatoes of their videos. You have a short intro and then get right in.. You have simple and concise tips that are very easy to understand and then to try myself.. Thanks for the great job sir! 👍

  • Too much talking.

  • not everyone likes the mona lisa

  • Took first lesson..went to range and it was a nightmare with new grip ect ect. Maybe I was thinking too much. Now I'm nervous by the end of my 15 lessons I may be worse off or more confused. Hopefully it will feel more natural in a few more lessons.

  • Thank you so much. You are good!
