MATT MOORE — SOME WERE ELIMINATED. MATCH PLAY BEGINS TOMORROW. ONE GOLFER THAT WILL NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE GRAND MARCH IS DEFENDING CHAMPION JOE LEVITT. HE HAD A SOLID TWO DAYS OF STROKE PLAY. HE COMES IN TIED WITH CONNOR GREEN LIVE OF WINDHAM COUNTRY CLUB. OF THOSE GUYS ARE SEVEN UNDER PAR. THEY ARE TO COLLEGE GOLFERS YOU DEFTLY WANT TO KEEP AN I ON AS THE WEEK PROGRESSES AT MOUNT WASHINGTON. I PLAYED WELL TODAY, I HIT THE BALL PRETTY WELL. I SHOT FIVE UNDER ON THE BACK NINE. I’VE BEEN KIND OF STRUGGLING LATELY BUT I’VE BEEN DRIVING A LOT. IT’S KIND OF A SHORT COURSE. I JUST GOT TO MAKE SOME BIRDIES OUT HERE. THAT WAS JOE LEVITT FROM ATKINSON RESORT AND GOLF CLUB. HE’S THE DEFENDING CHAMPION.
